Robertson’s School of Dancing has been teaching children to dance for over 70 years. We are a non-competitive school that specializes in developing a strong foundation in dance, while emphasizing the importance of having fun. Our program fosters personal growth, allowing each student to develop to her or his full potential.
Many people have been touched by Robertson’s since it was established in 1933. Some of our pupils are children or even grandchildren of past students. Former students have gone on to dance at Canada's National Ballet School, as well as dancing professionally in industrial shows and award shows including The Juno Awards.
We follow the Canadian Dance Teachers Association syllabus in Ballet , Tap & Jazz/Hip Hop (beginner to advanced levels) and offer Musical Theatre Dance for our senior students.
Location:
We have 2 studios, one in Etobicoke
(Humbertown), est. in 1965, and one in
Oakville (Glen Abbey), est. in 1984.
Classes Offered:
Our season runs from mid-September until mid-June.
*Ballet: PreBallet (ages 4 - 7)
Classical Ballet (ages 8 & up)
*Tap: All levels (ages 6 & up)
*Jazz/Hip Hop: All levels (ages 6 & up)
*Musical Theatre: For our senior students
*From beginner to advanced levels.

Annual Show:
Our students put on an annual show in June. Costumes are custom-made by professional dressmakers. Performing in the show is an integral part of our students’ training and represents a culmination of the Robertson’s experience.
